My brother made his server and I did most of the programing adding npcs and stuff But I never ment to be rude you guys should have told me to stop trying to raise my rank and post some more usfull stuff rather then saying EVERYTHING I POST IS USLESS GO OUTA HERE.

What I told you when you came on the server and asked was that posting for the sake of posting is a stupid thing to do. Not that you were stupid. There's a difference.

And don't go getting all excited and run down to patent "doing stupid things". You can't. It's public domain. Everyone has done it, including (shhhhh don't tell anyone) devs.

If you learn from your mistakes and move onward and upward, you have gained from the expirience. I think you have.

The only really stupid people are the ones who don't learn and keep making the same mistakes over and over. The bad news is that the stupid people are still multiplying faster than the rest of us....

Don't give up on helping people. But post what you know. If you don't know, read what those that do have to say and absorb it. Helping others is a very important and very admirable thing. So is learning.

You use forums to post information and converse in paragraphs. If you want to spam, use instant messangers.

And plus, for when I saw you spamming every post, it was not the fact that you were spamming, it was the fact that you agree'd to the rules and you broke them. That means you did NOT read the rules, or you're just a trouble maker. Trouble makers have no place in this community of hard working developers that produce work in their spare time just to come to the forums and have to lock/delete threads just because some fool wouldn't read the rules that he agreed to when he created his account.

I think the biggest thing with EQEMu community is the rules. Everyone should be up-tight about the rules, because if they aren't, it'll turn right back into HackersQuest #2. You obviously weren't around to see that flame fucked fest, but all I have to say is, that is the right place to spam one word fucked up twisted useless shit.

Follow the rules, and you'll be fine. And if you follow the rules, not only will you enjoy your time, you will have the benefit of learning and contributing to this project, and that will give you advantages, especially if you're young.

Kyle, I used to answer the same 20 questions day in and day out with "See sig - 1017 error" or "See sig - readme". Sad thing is that it usually worked to fix the problem. I did a lot of troubleshooting for the p-bomb, before it was destroyed. I gave feedback in the bug reports. I jostled Darkyth's cage in off-topic from time to time, and I told people who were doing an excellent job that I felt their work was invaluable.

My signature had links to about 10 posts that would cure just about everything. And because nobody would go look at what was out there, I just told them which post to read. (newbieherder)

I also did a lot of research for the damage equations, and it's not complete yet. And we dealt with a lot of idiots trying to :x and :evil: off the entire eqemu community. How did you get 106 posts anyway?

1. I like the fact that I dont have any more Butts next to my name now.

2. a_guest 03 it sounds like youve been around a LONG TIME (how old are u?)

3. Scorpious its sad your still a Newbie when youve made a lot of commitment by making a server thats up almost all the time.

4. Will this post ever end... or will ppl keep adding to it to continusly make in new.

5. I got 106 posts by being an idiot.

6. I really never read the rules to anything cause im only 17 and documents dont mean anything yet... (till I get my car).

7. I should have paid attention to that, and by the time I did it was too late.

Just read up alittle, by reading readme and all the guides. I am not dising you or what ever..... But you just need to think alittle bit before you post.

Whats i do sometimes is if someone has a problem i will do a search on there problem and give them to or 3 links on their topic

If i cant find it i might even go in the chat room and ask them.
