Everquest Classic Server Look in.
 

Heya everyone i did work on Project Norrath before it died due to lack of dev's.

So i am making our server's open source for the EQEMU so everyone can work on them and get lots of fixes done.

I repeat this will be an open source project so everyone can have a classic server. Maybe one day we will have a proper server to play on :)

I have got a public login server and i am trying to get in contact with doodman to host it for us. If any eqemu forum admins want's to host it for us pop in the irc channel.

4.4 public login server is up make your server connect to mail.bizclimb.com port 5999

Make your eqhost look like

You will need togo here to make an account for the login server.

Hi and thanks - don't we need specific database for this source?

Note when u make an account over at CoV don't download the files what are there unless u want to play CoV, we have 2 logins up.

awwww stylez why didnt you release your uber public loginserver with it? thats a shame

anyone who wants theirs on a public login of their own see my working public loginserver post in the minilogin forums it works fine

I want to give a classic EQ server a try, but I never have really got around to it. I might try setting up my own using this one here, just to dick around in. I haven't seen the old skeleton models functioning properly in so very long.

you forgot the spell files zone crashes without the ones for this release

my 4.4 is up and very much playable, come on and give it a try.

is this a classic everquest server? How many people are on it?

its a release of a server that works with a classic client. its not A server, its THE server so you can run it yourself. : )

is THE server seeing on eqemu login page ?? or do i need change my eqhost.txt file ?

or better do i need to take my old 650Mo Cdrom install it and connect to THE server

really can you help Noob to connecte to THE one ! :-)

k let me say that again.. this is not a public classic server.
it's THE SOURCE/BINARYS for a server that works with a certain classic client, NOT titanium, an old client, that you probably cant find anywhere.
there is no 'THE' server or 'A' server to connect to. you run it yourself.

i also have the original CD for kunark ..then velious ... then so and so


but i kept the all original CD

looks like the server has been down for a few days. I just patched and I'm getting 1001. It looked very promising, hopefully they bring it back up.

its not for EQTrilogy either.. its not from any disc set that you can get.

Should be legal download its form station.sony.com. I still bought titanium tho.

thats the play guide for logging into CoV not this.. CoV is version 5.x this is version 4.x of eqemu.
