Export Client Files

Another helpful bit of information I have found today that may help someone else out there:

If you are trying to export client files using the export_client_files.exe you have to move/copy both the exe and libmariadb.dll to your root folder instead of bin. If you are doing this for the first time this is a great guide although missing that 1 bit of info.

You shouldn't really need to move them at all, there are symlinks in the server root folder that points to the bin folder for both export and import

Just remember to make the export/import folders

Only reason they would fail is if the server was moved to another location after install as the symlink would still look in the original location for the files

Thanks -)

You, my friend, are a gem. I was getting a [ClientExport] error that it was unable to load configuration file and couldn't for the life of me figure out why.

Thanks, that solved it.

Edit: Bugger, still getting the same problem I was getting when using the Project EQ editor to generate the spells_us.txt - that is, the changes I'm making to the spells work but there's no text for buffing and no sounds (kind've a deal breaker).

Walk forward one step, slide back two.
