average server population

Hello every one,

i am always wondering what was the average population during 2000 on a server like bertoxxulous ( or other ).

The idea behind this question, is simple, what is a regular population to cross player in most famous zone.

See ya around

uhmm in the early days of vanilla then kunark and velious it was normal to have
crazy numbers in zones

50+ people in sebilis or lower guk
3-4 guilds in temple of veeshan at the same time (300+ people)
lguk, velketor and sebilis were notorious for being so full of players that you could take a level 1 toon and waltz up to any point in the zone and loot rots - i know one person who made a whackload of toons the day before the mask of deceiver nerf, just to loot some masks that coudl be used by non bard / rogues. he just char selected them up and walked right down through a player infested uguk and lguk to teh spawn point

raids in kunark were big ... but in velious raids got to ridiculous sizes... 100 people was not a surprise to sit in one spot for 5 hours buffing buffing buffing, and waiting for shit to get single pulled to the zone line by a monk w eye of zomm so your guild could try again.

essentially, teh top end dungeons of the current and last expansion were/are always fully occupied... when OOW was "the" expansion.. riftseekers sanctum was so packed you could, once again waltz around and just go anywhere

untli the bazaar was invented by SOE. the eastern commonlands always had 100s of players spamming ooc shout etc with advertisements for their random garbage

server pops were 1400-2500 from what I recall before they stopped showing them.
