Want server to be EQ Classic

For the sake of simplicity and a realistic goal of having a finished Legit server, I was wondering if you could help me on modifying the following:

-Only the original 2 continents.
-EQ Classic races and classes only
-Level 50 cap

I want to keep it small to make for a more populated server feel.

i thought there were 3 original continents. Anyway they are still in Dev Release so alot of things are still being worked on. Most of what you are asking is DB issues, there are wonderful posts in the forums about how to modify your world...

I do agree that this is a better setup.....i'm all for pre-kunark severs

Is it possible to use the old interface? The interface as it was in the original release? What we would now call classic EQ? I've seen the newer client interface and wasn't too happy with it. I too would only want to run a classic EQ server.

Interface doesnt really bother me as much as having a vast amount of zones form 5 expansions to fill.

I think if I could get it down to pre-kunark it would be so much easier to actually make a complete server.

You'll need to mess with the source for a proper way to prevent BSTs, have a level 50 cap and all that. Add this line under OP_CharacterCreate in world/client.cpp, ABOVE SendCharInfo();

I missed the pre-kunark and pre-velious days and have been wishing there'd be some way to go back to them. Please notify my as soon as you get this server up (I'll be like the first to log on).
