Login Issues
 

Hi all!

I am new to this so here it goes. I have followed the steps and have created a seperate EQ directory for the emulator. I have also used the step by step and changed all the eqhost.txt and Datarate.txt and have created the Icon and added the patchme to the end of the Target box. What happens is when I try to bring up EQemu it shoots right to the Regular EQ and proceeds to change all the txt back to it's original so that I can only log into Sony's servers. Please help? What am I missing?

If you post in general support, you will find many helpful people there. If mattmeck gives you a hard time, don't take it personally. I suggest you download and read the guide that Magick took the time to prepare. It is available from the link in my signature.

Hello, you will need to do one of two options.
1. Download Eqw and use it.
or
2. Click Start, Run and type in the following into the Open textbox:

"C:\Program Files\Everquest\eqgame.exe patchme" and click OK

be sure to include the quotes, and the following assumes you installed everquest to C:\Program Files\Everquest\ if you installed it into any other directory you will need to make changes.
