Unable to Play
 

I have updated to EQ Live, I have followed all the instructions on the "To Play" guide.

When I try to play on an Eqemu server, I get to the charactor screen, select my charactor then. in the last loading screen, after a couple seconds the screen goes black and I get sent back to the Menu. Then, there is NO error message. It doesnt even tell me "Youve been disconnected."

That sounds like what used to happen (11 months ago when i played on Live) when your eqgame.exe was not up to date.

You say you have patched to live but then did you run the EQEmu patcher? This sems to be a common problem. Don't ru the Emu patcher.

If you're still having troubles make sure you're using the default UI as I have seen that cause problems in the past as well.

Also people are having issues after they patch to live because they dont do the complete file check.

Ive done a complete file check.
I havent downloaded the EQ Emu patcher

So I suppose I wont be able to play for a while

what kind of internet connection do you have?

A lot of people with dial up cant play right now.

Yep, I have a 56k connection. Dial-Up.

Just one more question, When will Eqemu be stable enough so that us with dial up can play?

ETAs are never given for this project. It will be stable when it's stable.
