Changing Loots / Size / Race
I am trying to fix Sleeper's Tomb since pretty much EVERY mob is either where it isn't suppose to be or doesn't even exist.
Trying to edit all the gems and jewelry loot drops from the random/regular mobs to make it so its more rare to get them and you don't get 5-7 gems/jewelry at a time. I changed the races and sizes of some of the warders and kerafyrm and then did #npcspawn update on all of them and once I left the zone and came back they reset. Also trying to figure out how to put Kerafyrm back inside it bubble since he is huge and sitting outside. Anyone able to walk me through any of that stuff? Also changing The Final Arbiter back into a velium golem and not fire imp, along with all the other things that are suppose to be different races. Need help with all of that since I can't get any of it to work. |

You need to reboot the server not just zone. |
PoTime B mobs.
I am working on making all the PoTime B gods. I went to Bertoxxulous's spawn point, spawned him, gave him all the right abilites, dps, size, loot and then updated, added, and created (just did all cause i don't know which one adds him in for sure) and I was wondering if doing #zsave potimeb would work instead of resetting server? and if you reset server do you need to be serverop.
BTW I am not the ServerOp, but my status is 200. I need a way to be able to spawn mobs, set up the mobs, save the mobs and then not worry about them dissapearing when I leave =( I don't know how to reset the server but if you can tell me that'd be great keke |
btw...
If you aren't a ServerOp is there anyway you could get into the DB so you could help them out with stuff? Like maybe send files over AIM.. the item editor and stuff like that?

that's up to the ServerOP that runs the server your account sits on. Generally, unless the person is your brother/sister/good friend, it'd be a somewhat hasty decision that could lead to coming home to a db with all kinds of errors and modifications. .. this happened to me, and can completely kill the db if you're not careful.
Local editing is safer, because you know what you changed, and can backup the db every once in a while. |
