To the owner or gm of the fish-wolf server
 

I have two characters that currently cannot be logged into because of a bug, i was wondering if you could do something about it? My account name is DannMann99. I have one human monk sitting in unrest (i think you have to move him to a zone you host). And i have another human monk sitting in west commonlands, he cannot be logged into because of i believe a lore item bug of some sort. i looted a dragoon dirk off of that dark elf in west commonlands, and it said lore item error. then my cursor was bugged so i couldnt click on anything. So i did a /sit, /camp to get out and relog... and now it closes eq when i try to log him on. Can you do something about any of these characters? it seems once i begin to level up some my characters get a bug and i have to start all over... this isnt good press my friend.

will it not let you #movechar? try making a level 1 and using this command to move that char out of unrest. I was stuck in there too because on one server it was open and now it crashes so bleh :shock: anyways, i cant help ya with the lore item thing, i had to start over. so just take a mental note never to loot lore items ;d

Hi,

I run Fish-Wolf. If you have troubles like the one you describe,
make a new character and try to speak to me in game. My
character's name is Stone. The movechar command should also work for you, but I am happy to help when I am on.

The item will need to be deleted from your character via database, it's essentially causing a client corruption when the icon/graphic is loaded.

it worked itself out i believe. I managed to get on after using #movechar and i moved him to gfaydark which seems to be a zone which is up all the time. When i logged on the item was on the curser and i was able to drop it. Thx for the help though

I too am having a problem... I log on to the Fish-Wolf server and get to the character selection screen, I select my characer and enter world. my problem is it never loads it just crashes after a minute. A few days ago it was working fine and i was playing on it now it doesnt work.... anyone know whats wrong?

Rikki try moving that character from a different character on the same account via the #movechar <name> <zone> as stated above

yes i know ive tried making a new character but it doesnt load it doesnt get to the zone it just crashes....

I have that issue a lot too. It was running fine this morning, made a char and started playing, then logged to go to class. Ever since then I cannot get it to log in. Most the time it doesnt even connect to the worldserver, and when it DOES , after I select a char, it hangs and I have to end task it. >< Fishwolfe is the funnest server I have played on yet, too... ^^

It seems that sometimes a character gets stuck in a zone, and who all
reports level 0 and unknown race or class, from time to time. I have
this problem every once in a while as well. #movechar works sometimes.
Sometimes I notice this and kick the character. Often after that the
character comes back and starts working fine. Something I wanted to
mention is that the server is restarted every night at 3am PST. So if
you have a stuck character, it should be unstuck by the next day.
If this is not the case, maybe it has to do with what Wiz mentions
above.
