cant log in it says incorrect name/password
 

i have the correct name/password but i cant put the whole name in because its too long is there a way to fix this so i can log in?

You have been one of the many who select a name that is too long. Politely wait, and a developer may be able to change your username to something that the eq client tolerates.

isnt it faster to just get a new user,
since he hasnt written any threads, and
he has never logged on, so he doesnt loose
any chars...
just a thought...

He used his email address. So if he has no other non-free ones, he can sign up again.
