Why do some people choose to be mean when they're online? Probably more than half of this fourm is made up of flaming...Maybe i'm ignorant, but i don't find being mean fun...*shrugs*Just a quiestion...i'm most likely going to be flammed for...but! I say bring it on!

I think its pent up frustration... Most people are such pansies in real life, the only chance they have to be tough is to be rude on the internet....

Flaming is part of change, you don't know what the problem is and you will not learn from it. Hearing other peoples opinions is what posting is all about, their reactions, their feelings. No Flaming, and noone would know if something is wrong.

We all wish we could not be flamed, but flaming is just a part of life, learn to live with it, you adjust to it, it doesn't adjust to you.

flaming may be a part of change but its not a good one, if someone wanted to show their opinions or correct some one they should do it in a calm and respectfull manner not being a jerk otherwise it doesn't get through to the other person it just angers them. I may flame some people but thats only when they get on my last nerv not when im trying to prove a point.

Many flamers I see on the internet are trying to assert their free will by trampling people that they see weak. It's a power thing. When they feel weak, or when their life is boring or not in their control, they use the punishment of others as a power grab.

I see a connection with rape here? How about you???

And some people acused of being mean just lack tack (looks in the mirror) and are thinking of the greater good. Wile others come online just to try to piss other people off for fun.

some people just hate everyone.
