This Zone is Currently Unavailable?! Help!
 

Okay, I can log into nearly all servers (on a few I get 1017 but I will try to figure that out later), but whatever character I make, in whatever zone, I get an Error saying "This Zone is Currently Unavailable", I downloaded EQEmu last night, I am running the Latest Working version, I believe. Any Tips?!

From that i get you are playing on other peoples servers and getting those errors

With that i think you are RUNNING a server because you dont download anything to play on others servers.

I am running off of other people's servers, such as Stryfe's Test Server and The Infernal Den Server.

well in that case your answer is in the forums, its been answered in a couple threads already.

Yeah I saw that, so the answer is there is something wrong, a lot of people are getting it, and there is nothing I can do right now? heh

its called a catch 22, If the Devs would have waited till the code was fixxed and tested (from the last patch) everyone would have been spamming the bord cause they couldnt play since they didnt make a back up then patched or are new. So to make people "happy" they pushed out the code quick, unfinished and untested, so now we have people complaining about the bugs that are here because the Devs wanted people to be able to play.

I relaized thats what happend... thats why I have been keeping my mouth shut and just telling people to wait it will get better.
everyone complains about my server dropping them but it's better
than not playing at all is my typicial resonse...
Im just happy they fixed and released a semiworking version before xmas.
