Question about servers
 

Hi and well met everyone. I am going to be starting a server soon with a new pc i just got, i was wondering on about how many people it could hold as a server.

Currently running at
3.4ghz
2 gig pc3200 ram
cable internet

Ideas?

depends on the speed of your internet. with a 2.4 GH and a gig of ram with a cable connection I was able to host 12-15 people as long as noone fought or cast once people started fighting / casting I was able to hold 5-7 people. and it wasnt the processor or Ram that caused the Lag it was the cable connection.
