im banned from irc adready?? i didnt even get in new irc channel before too.

What client are you using to connect to irc? If you are using the web based client irc.foo.is, they have banned that. I have the same problem, and I'm looking for another web besed client now.

Trillian - www.trillian.cc

It supports http tunneling for IRC, this will get you past most firewalls.

mIRC is good also. http://www.mirc.com

i cant connect using trillian's IRC client, it just says its banned. Just grab Mirc, it works fine.

im using xircon.

make sure u have ident running

I was in earlier this morning but now, nope...

btw, I'm new :) and I worked out that I have everquest but it thought I had the luclin expansion and couldnt find it so it kept erroring..fixed now though.

I have tried Trillian, nope
mIRC, nope
any other ideas?
It comes up Stuckie(my ip address) Banned (You are not welcome on this server)

[edit] it says to use ident.. erm, how? I'm behind a firewall/proxy and I cant get it to run!! BOOO! :( [edit]

do you have access to allow port forwarding? If so you will have to forward the ports for identd and dcc if you want fully functional irc. identd is typically port 113, but both are configurable. Good luck!
