also please note
also note that some routers you have will change your internal ip everyday so if you have a router and gat Error: 10061 or Error:10060 on Boot5zones.bat but not world exe you should go to your routers web address and acctavate the DMZ for your new ip wich you can see by typeing

Set the IP addresses on the left (the first set) to your external IP, and the ones on the right (the second set) to your internal IP...
Try this; run world.exe and make sure it connects, then open up a dos prompt and type the following, <eqemu> is wherever you put your server files with world.exe and zone.exe, without the < and > keys... : Code:
cd <eqemu>\start zone . 24.162.26.61 7995 <your internal IP> If this opens up a zone window, then you need to retype/redo your load5zones.bat, as there is a problem in it... If it doesnt boot a zone up, then you are having NAT issues... and you need to configure either your firewall, or router to open up those ports for use... [edit] Also noted that you were trying to boot specific zones instead of the general "." (period) for ANY zone.. Try using the "." istead and see if that will connect you... (in other words dont try and get tricky until you get the basic package running first)>>>> :) |
Samandhi I got the error Could not Find specified path, does that mean that I just didnt type it in right?
