ok, ive been looking around and i still cant figure out 1 question. what is EQEmu exactly? thx for anyone who helps out lol

hmmmm...its free. non-legit, semi-legit, and legit servers. its not run by sony or verant. you can create your own server. the list goes on and on.

so like u can create ur own server and just do whatever u want?

EQEMU = software that allows you to run your own server the way you want, OR connect to other people servers with no monthly fee.

THis is NOT EQ live, has lots of bugs, is not meant to replace or in most cases even be like EQ live.

Some server offer you GM powers other dont, other offer a mix.

some servers try to be like live other make whole new worlds.
