Interesting new programming language
 

Hey everyone, I just found an interesting language, based off of BASIC and Visual Basic, but is apparently almost as fast as C++. I've fiddled with the demo, and even though the demo is always set to debug mode (slows it down) it still seems pretty fast, and the help file is pretty good. Its only about 60$ and it has lifetime updates, so check it out at www.purebasic.com . Post what you think about it here :) .

eh theres another thing out there called BlitzBasic 3D fairly simple only took me a few mins to make a game where you run around and endless plain on a dragon =P.

paying $1 for a whittled down language makes no sense when there are more powerful and equally simple free alternatives (like pygame or ruby+sdl).
