currently my server is empty...i know why and understand why(vaugly) i understand the fact that i need to put in items/npc's is there a precompiled setup of everything (im shure there proly is) and how do i insert it?(without haveing to compile it)...would like something i can just plug in and run with till i get bored and start tearing it apart :P

i am prepared for flameing of myself due to the fact this is only my second post :P

items and npcs are put in via the database..try checking the worldbuilding section

You will put in the db's you find (that are populated) just as you would in the tutorial when you sourced in the blank db. Just source it right in with what you already have.

If by this you mean you just want something that is a "Package" deal to just run to get a server running, then you WONT find that here. If you could do that here we would be called Ethernalquest, and the server would be massively imcomplete and broken all the time due to eqlive patches <smile>

ok so idealy whats the best set to source up for the most functional setup?....atm ive managed to get items in...still no npc's

the mw db in the world building forum has items and npcs in it.

It has flaws, but they're working on it at the moment and will hopefully have a new release soon.

Dont forget to mention Myra's db it is populated also.
