that looks fine.. "i'm stuck" does absolutely nothing for me rofl.. wtf is the problem.

ok when i run world.exe nothing happens so thats the problem )

you didnt follow the readme.. that is the problem. world.exe wouldnt open then close unless you left a very important field blank in one of the INI files. such as host.

error 1062
 

ok i redid it and i kept getting error 1062 dont know what that is but hopefully you can fill me in

What is the error? i dont have a huge book with all the error codes hehe.

Ok the error changed today
 

today i desided to just completely start over. when i got to the test world.exe i got error 2006. i did both of the tips you said on your forum and neigther of them worked. each time it says mysql server has gone away. and access has been denied to southpark@localhost. what else could i do?

check other posts here. there are a few that deal with 2006 error.

ok so i did what you said and i looked through a few forums and tried all that was suggested. now when i try world.exe the is all that comes up

ok now the world.exe is working fine. now the zone9x isnt working this is what the window says.


using database 'eq' at localhost

entering sleep mode

i closed window.exe before running the program. no wonder it didnt connect. heh thanks.:D

ok everything works and says what its suppose to. but how do i log in? did i miss something i was suppose to downlaod to do it?

follow the next steps in the readme.

First did you create an account at http://eqemu.org/login put those in your loginserver.ini under username and password. Your eqhost.txt file should point to eqlogin.eqemu.org Then run either "eqgame patchme" or "eqw" and login using the same above mentioned username and password.

Alternativly you can try local only access using the minilogin posted about 3 days ago in this forum, grab that and run it before running world.exe You will need to edit loginserver.ini and eqhost.txt to point to 127.0.0.1 instead of eqlogin.eqemu.org and 199.222.160.75 And no username or password in loginserver.ini
