Post Counts

So, clearly I am a newbie because I have a post count of one (1) but

Can someone explain to me what the best post count is?

Cause I mean if you have too few posts people say "Nice post count faggot"

And then if you have alot of posts people say "Get a life, nice post count faggot"

So whats the word on the exact number of posts you need in order to have an opinion worth reading? Can someone tell me because I'm just curious :-)

Thank you for your time,

-Newbie.

How do you know, if this is your first post?

Cause there's no "read post count".

You know, it IS possible to read these boards without posting.

@Hamadryad:
There's clearly no "best" post count. Seems to be the good old "the more you have the better".

I think it has more to do with quality than quantity: No netspeak, articulate your thoughts. Give content, not spam.

At least someone will read your messages.

I dont't judge anyone by their post count, but many people seems to think "post count > all" :)

Many people just use postcount as excuse to ignore whatever you just sad. So if its low they get you on that and if its high they get you on that, but either way they're really just not agreeing with what you said and are too insecure to admit it.

<agrees with Scorp> <AND with Trump> Ive been following this project since august last year, but havent posted a lot. Mainly because I DO try to help when I can, and up until the last month or so I didnt feel I had much to offer in the way of help (not sure if I STILL do)... Put it this way, Ive never been flamed for my post count (as you can see it is still low), just for ignorance <smile>

AFAIK, the global forum views don't show author post-counts. Choosing descriptive post topics is therefore a better way to get desired attention. Posters to this forum generally do a very very poor job of choosing suitable topic titles - you included. "Post Counts" is a lot less descriptive than, "what are those orange butts all about?" or "how many posts = 1 ass?"

I don't think you guys got the point of this post, I was kinda being sarcastic at the moderater who edited Cortexa's post and wrote "Nice post count newb" or something. Bah it's not funny now ;P
