questions : quests and playing in window
 

Hello all !

First i'd like to thank all the ppl that work on eqemu, for all the fun i had with it about a year ago :)

Now i come back, but i'd like a few answers:
Are the quests effective on "legit" servers ?
How can i play EQ in a window ?

Yes on some. Ite depends on what server you are playing on. Guildwars (I think) has quests that are working, Winter's Roar has quests (wow what a different kind of experience than eqlive), and Scorpious server has quests. There are probably more but havent had a chance to play on them yet. Those are the ones listed in green, but dont forget the other ones also, some of those are really good too.

I know you said dont worry bout that one, but you dont HAVE to use eqw to play eq in a window. SOE attempted to do something similar with that, and therfore all you have to do is press alt+enter. That will give you eq in a window. The problem is that you cant resize it. Now, if you want mouse availability, just press alt+shift+r while in a window, and you can make eq not the main focus, being able to look up itmems and good stuff like that. Hope some of this info was useful to you.
