Fixxing Problem 2006
 

Hey, I managed to somewhat fix the 2006 error, I reinstalled mysql and used trump's method of granting all privaleges to that handle. Doing so allowed me to load up the database, but failed to let me keep the world server up, here's what it outputted :

LoginServer.ini read.
Using database 'eq' at 127.0.0.1
Loading items...done.
Loading guild ranks...done.
World server listening on: port 9000
Connected to LoginServer: localhost:5999
Login server responded with FatalError. Disabling
Error message: 'Bad password'
LoginServer connection lost: 127.0.0.1:5999


So it loaded up everything but then wouldn't let me stay on. any ideas?

More information.

Everything is pointing correctly to localhost.
My ini's are set up correctly

I can get into the login server with eqw, but no world servers are displayed

You are using a LOGIN AND PASSWORD in loginserver.ini when it clearly tells you to LEAVE THEM BLANK.

Also, are you using Minilogin.exe or login.exe?

minilogin.exe. Whats login.exe? :P

make sure theres no spaces or anything after any of the fields (especially account and password).

space found after port entry. fixxed it. same problem

Your paste of loginserver.ini looks like it has spaces in it (in several spots). try finding me on IRC then DCCing me your loginserver.ini file.
