Character Sent To LDoN Zone Which I dont Have
 

Help,

My 12 y.o. son spent a lot of time developing a character on BrightBlades server then accidently sent him to "The Halls of War" zone which is in the LDoN expansion. Unfortunately, we dont have LDoN and it crashes when we try to access this character.

Any help is appreciated.

Unfortunaetly, I dont believe there is a way to get the char out of the zone. I remember zoning my one character into a LDoN zone without thinking (#zone command) and now I cant do anything with him. The char is pretty much lost.

Edit: Disregard what I said, wize_one proved me wrong. :)

try createing a new char on that server log into it, then do #movechar (stuck-char-name) nexus.... that is if they are a non-legit server..if they are will have to get with a GM to get the char moved.

Here's what you do:

Create another character. It doesn't matter what class, or race. I suggest picking a Wood Elf because they spawn in Greater Faydark and that zone is static, which means it will always be up as long as the server is up.

Secondly, log on to that character. Once you appear in the zone, type '#movechar (character name) (desired zone)' without the quotes.

For example, if Furor was the name of the stuck character, and I wanted to move him to the zone Iceclad, I'd type this;

#movechar Furor iceclad

If it is successful, you should get a message saying, 'Character successfully moved.' or something of that nature.

try click the expansions on the patcher options (EQ patcher).. you can download everything now totally free.

Yes you can download LDON without having to pay or have it registered

if for some reason your not on one of the semi-legit or non-legit servers, just petition and (if the server has a GM), they can movelog it for you
