mySQL help
 

Ok my friend has told me about it, i seen it all over he boards......


What is it, and can you please not jsut say "its an open scrse program" or soemthign like that, can you kinda go into detail, or show me somewhere that does.

I looked at the site and i dont quite know what im looking for. All i know is that i want to be able to read the Databases and search through them for items and such. Thanks in advanced.

Open Source means the source of the program is free for all the download, compile, modify etc.

I would recommend using Mysql-Font or EQAdmin to manage your database, look in the sticky in 3rd Party tools.

MySQL is an open source database program. The .sql files you are talking about are NOT databases. They are merely information to put into a database program. Try reading the help file that comes with MySQL it has an overview section that will help clarify some.
