Where can I get a nice free compiler so I can compile all those nice shiny new 5.5 files?

Do a google for Dev C++ it is free. Borland also has one for free..

This compileing project just isnt working. I dont know whats wrong, but I guess Ill have to wait for a pre-compiled verson..

I was using the Dev C++ compiler, and It just wasnt working.. I guess I dont know how to compile :P

Anymore help would be greatly appriciated..

Yes, 0.5.3 DR2 is precompiled, but it is NOT compatible with the newest patches from SOE.. Would you rather them work on getting precompiled binaries out for you (that you cant play yet) or to fix the code to match SOE's patches, so we can at least play on the EqEmu servers? THEN get the precompiled binaries (read Release).

There will be binaries released only when the developers feel comfortable enough with the software's stability and functionality to do so. I have been running the current version all day without a problem so I doubt it will be long.

FYI: The reason Ive been asking 100 questions lately is because I have completed all the steps for making my Offline server, and all I need is to get my hands on the 5.5DR1 binaries :D

0.5.5-DR1 is for developers and expert users only. If you do not have a compiler by now then 0.5.5-DR1 will do you no good. It is full of bugs and not stable enough for a production server.

Nope.. just play on one of the test servers until its released to the public in a more stable form.

Will uninstalling GoD allow 5.3 to work?
