I'm guessing (after reading some other things about this server) that I need POP in order to take advantage of the new features, such as the newbie merchants and such, correct? Currently I have only up to Luclin (that's when I stopped playing EQ Live). If I can find a really cheap way of upgrading to the newer expansions, I would...unfortunately that's not an option at this point in time for me. kinda sucks, but oh well.

You can download ALL expansions legally using the EQPatcher. Just go to advanced options and select all the checkboxes...

funny thing is I did that thinking that maybe I would get all the expansions that way. Then someone in an EQemu server I was playing on said that didn't work and I needed to install them myself. So I never bothered to try zoning to a zone past luclin. I'll give it a shot and see if your right ;)

You wont have to give it a shot to see if he is right, because he IS right... :)

thats how I did it, i installed PoP from the CD's and then downloaded all the expansions through the patcher, works great. Just have to make sure you have all the expansions checked in the options.

well you're all right! wow. the only thing I noticed was the POP portal tomb wasn't outside qeynos...unless I was looking in the wrong place.

That is NOT part of the client but part of the server. So that object is dependant on the inclusion from the maker of the DB that populates the server you are using...:)

Wait, So How do i DL all the Expansions? I only have the trilogy! :(

When you patch, click on advanced and check all the expansions... That's it :D
