3-10-04 EQLive Patch
As of 3-13-04, EQEmu (0.5.5) still works with the live patch. The patch on 3-10 didnt break anything major (if anything at all).
Remember: always backup your EverQuest directory before patching JUST IN CASE. P.S.: The EQEmu Test Server is running 0.5.5-RC1 (Release Candidate 1) and should be available for release in the next few days. We need as many of you to log in and test this server as possible. Ok Then Can i ask what Bugs errors did you fix?
Like are the Grouping bugs fixed? |

i know this just isnt happenin but..
Is there a way to just make a server 100% exactly like everquest server, all quests enabled and the same, npc's say the same thing, mobs have 100% same hp/ac as in reg eq, and all that? i know this isnt happenin, but i want to know the reasone why you cant steal all that data if you can steal the maps? Would be really cool if that could be possible in the future.

Unfortunately, one can't simply "steal" the data (the maps are actually on your computer already... no one had to "steal" it) Some of the data can be collected by watching what the EQLive servers sends to your computer (ie. use a packet collecter) However, not all data is sent to you... some of it is done server side (mobs AC/ATK is one example of things not sent to you) So on these things, the world builders have to make educated guesses. So, if you want something that is as fully populated as live, as well supported as live, and as accurate as live, well... play on live, it's the only way you're going to get that experience at this point in time. |
Bug!!
I'm not sure if its just me, it only happens on this server though....i hope i did get the right forum, but it did say report bugs here..
Anyway, after about 30ish seconds of logging a character on to this server i get a client crash, anyone able to help?? |

Same bug here...except now im crashing the SECOND I should be able to see oasis after clicking enter world on character select. Before I would be in for about 30 seconds and bing bang boom crash. I don't have this problem on any other servers.
