did you run zone servers? ( 2 is minium but 4 is best )
|
Yes..
i have 5 running... they load ok, and enter sleep mode... then when i try to enter the world and connect to a z server i get this string.......
Using database 'eq' at localhost Loading items & NPCs...done. Spells loaded from 'spdat.eff'. Loading guild ranks...done. Loading faction data...done. Connected to worldserver: 127.0.0.1:9000 Entering sleep mode Map: Maps\felwitheb.map not found. Reading zhdr file './cfg/felwitheb.cfg' ----------- Zone server 'felwitheb' listening on port:7997 ----------- New client from ip: 127.0.0.1 port:1482 Login packet 1 Login packet 2 Client dropped: GetAuthentication = 0, n=Enchanter Dropping client: Process=false, ip=127.0.0.1, port=1482 Automatic shutdown Message:----SERVER SHUTDOWN---- Zone shutdown: going to sleep This is copy+paste from my zone server... it cant find the maps... and neither can i.. where are they? anyhow can anyone make more sence of this? |
hmm
have you tried to make a char of another race hum etc??
|
Ignore the maps message, it doesn't mean anything.
There have been other posts with this same problem, read through some of the posts from the last week or 2. I can't remember what they found out. |
It was because...
i was because i had the old DB.sql sourced and not the new one.. Is there a DB.sql file that will work with 3.0 that is a full spawn? or atleast a part spawned world? i downloaded one and i get the same error when trying to run it.

go to the brand new worldbuilder forum and get either Drawde's 0.8 DB or Ariak's DB9 You can also check on www.shownomercy.net for downloads. Be sure to read what version of EQEmu the DB was made for.
