zoning, dying, and reconnecting
 

it seems like almost all the time when i try to zone, or die, i get kicked back to the server selection screen. is this a problem with the servers? ive tried almost all of them including the official test server. im on dsl and ive set datarate to 8.

This is JUST my opinion, but I believe it is a little of both... I think in their quest to fix the hardware issues specific to only amd and nvidia, they have actually made some things unstable under certain conditions, because I have been seeing it also (not TOO much though) with my own server and client, it is NOT something that I can reproduce at will. So given the fact the the eqlive msg boards are having complaints of the same issues, I would say it is NOT our wonderful coders that are inadvertantly causing this, nor the way servers are set up (though as I mentioned earlier this is probably causing at least SOME of this issue, some of the time), but is a SOE problem, and even THEY dont really know what the heck they did to cause it...
