Login Problems...
 

I continue to have log in problems and I am uncertain as to why. Sometimes it lets me in, and sometimes I get the "bad username/password" message. What am I to do?

If you are encountering the bad username/password before you even access the server list, odds are you forgot to edit your eqhost.txt file (or you repatched it while entering eq) to point to either your login server or the emu login server.

If you are encountering the bad username/password via a 1017 error in the EQ client, but world.exe lists the bad un/pw error, then likely your account is not set up properly in your database.

Otherwise, if your eqhost is set up properly and you don't get to the server select before seeing the error, you need to be sure to enter your emu login name and password exactly, I believe they mirror your forum login name and password.

Clarification would help us understand your problem better.
