Make sure there isnt a space after [Loginserver] in your loginserver.ini

Make sure there are no spaces at the end of ANY line in your loginserver.ini

Check the [Worldserver] line, but check the rest as well to be safe.

Tulladar 03-28-2004 08:52 AM

This is what I have:

[LoginServer]
loginserver=eqlogin1.eqemulator.net
loginserver2=eqlogin2.eqemulator.net
loginserver3=eqlogin3.eqemulator.net
loginport=5997
loginport=5997
loginport=5997
worldname=
worldaddress=
locked=false

[WorldServer]
Defaultstatus=0
Unavailzone=

[LoginConfig]
ServerMode=Standalone
ServerPort=5999
UplinkAddress=
UplinkPort=
UplinkAccount=
UplinkPassword=

[ChatChannelServer]
ChatChannelServer=

there are no spaces where there shouldn't be...at least that's what I can see

Derision 03-28-2004 08:56 AM

Are your worldname and worldaddress really blank, or did you delete them before posting ?

This still sounds like an extraneous space problem, but it is impossible to tell from a copy/paste to the forums.

nilar 03-28-2004 08:57 AM

If there are no spaces after any line then your World.exe should run fine. Anytime it says it can't find a block that usually means there is a space after it so its not reading it right.

Tulladar 03-28-2004 09:08 AM

I made them blank before posting, I don't know there are no spaces...I know that the Block thing is because of spaces, I'll keep looking tho. Thanks for your help guys
