Kaiydo or whatever name is..
 

In your item editor.. I see where you have to add your settings, host, database name, username, and password..I tried localhost, and I have tried my IP..I get database connection failed..What I am entering seems to be valid according to EQAdmin..

I'm not sure you'll get an answer from Kaiyodo on this issue, it's been a good while since Kaiyodo has even worked on the item editor. If you're using an up-to-date set of binaries, I suggest using mangoo's item editor - it's very nice and a lot like Kaiyodo's in functionality. You can find the link to it in this post.

Having the same problem though..Entered all the info correctly and it won't let me in...*bashes head against keyboard*

Make sure username and password are your mysql username and password. Also double check that you put in the correct db name.

i use mangoo's, 1.9.1 is a little bugged, use the one that omes with eq server 5.2

It's not bugged at all, you're just not using an updated items database. I can use 1.9 with no problems whatsoever.
