Connect to your server?
 

How can i connect to my server? i can connect to eqcollecter and play but i cant find my chara files to up my admin level, maybe i'm doing something wrong any ideas?I have all my IP's set to 127.0.0.1 all of them except eqhost.txt and thats set to eqcollecter.

chage your eqhost.txt to this:

change every IP in locinserver.ini and boot5zones.bat to localhost

make sure you have recently patched regular EQ, and have the DR-1 binaries, then run world.exe and boot5zones.bat

everything should load just fine.

at this point your server name should show up on the server select screen. you should be able to connect to it...but since all your ips will be set to localhost, only YOU can connect to your server. If you want to make your server public..follow one of the server setup guides.

Erm to set your access level...go to start menu

Start Menu -> Run ->


type cmd and hit enter

type cd C:\eqemu

type "world.exe flag accountname 200" w/o the quotes, replacing accountname with your EQEmu account name...then hit enter

that will flag YOU as ServerOP...
