EQEMu CVS

Well since we dont' update our CVS anymore... I would.. but ya.. I've set up a site and I do dumps of the Developer's CVS every now and then.. so if you want the latest version that you can get... go to

http://cvs.biosprite.net

Make sure you read the license... because it's not supported in anyway, if it doesn't work for you.. sorry, I don't test each rar'd source to compile or anything like that...

Have fun... and ya.. wra!

Thanks khuong.

krusher 04-02-2004 11:59 AM

Thanks Much. I and the other Server OP appreciate it .

VooodooKiller28 04-02-2004 06:28 PM

Hey i know this has nothing to do with the subject but Ive been getting repeatedly disconnected everytime i get on to any server
I dont know why this is happening but if u have any suggestions or any reasons why they would be very much apreciated. :)

Thanks a lot, Khuong.

I don't host a (public) server, but having up-to-date source is neccessary to write a 3rd party app. :)

Here is a much faster mirror site to download the rars from. Enjoy.

eqemu.forever-hack.net

Gossamer 04-21-2004 04:03 AM

VZ update your mirror, its out of date.

rizzen04 04-21-2004 11:25 PM

Ok, mirror has been updated. Sorry about that.

vzmule 04-22-2004 01:16 AM

Rizzen beat me to it! :)

Destavator 04-22-2004 01:42 AM

If you need an optional Mirror with good bandwith and unlimited Datatransfer, message me and ill setup an account for you on my Server

Monrezz 04-22-2004 03:56 AM

I notice that your site vzmule/rizzen04 is linking to downloads of EQGame.exe downloads - warez. Might want to remove the link to your site, or remove the links to the files, or face being banned :/

Btw, link in question: http://forever-hack.net/viewtopic.php?t=181

Just a piece of helpful advice :P

Jezebell 04-22-2004 04:48 AM

I would say that that is debateable Monrezz, his signature link is not a direct link to the post in question, I am sure that if you search through alot of people's sigs you will find links to "warez". But I don't think he should have to remove the link from his sig just because that websites forums has a link to some Everquest files. Just my opinion. It doesn't seem like being that strict was the goal of the Devs creating that rule, but I could be wrong of course.

Monrezz 04-22-2004 05:35 AM

He is the Admin of the forums, would be easy to just remove the post :)

And I think it is still a "crime" (so to say) to link to a site that links to warez - you are still indirectly linking to warez. (ShareReactor and countless other websites got shutdown even though they never actually provided warez - just links to places you could get them).

Don't want to argue, just wanted to let him know that it would probably be better if he did something. Don't have a problem with the site either, think it's great to host mirrors for the CVS dumps. Anyway - up to the Devs to decide :)

Get bent, seriously. My sig links to a game hacking messagebaord where in one of thousands of posts someone else posted a link to a zip of old eqgames hosted on someone else's site.

Get a life.

Not that it matters, but Rizzen isn't even affiliated with forever-hack.net. He runs the Shattered Lands server with me. eqemu.forever-hack.net is not even the same server as forever-hack.net.

Self-righteous bonehead.

NarutoLegacy 04-24-2004 03:22 PM

Ouch.

He was only giving you advice, but I can see how Jezebell is right, it is not a direct link, nor does it say anything about a free eqgame.exe.
