Cable internet
 

I have cable internet rated at 1M down/ 256 up... I just ran a speed test ad dslreports.com and it said my down speed was 2670. I was wondering if anyone knows how accurate that is... It doesn't even seem reasonable. I downloaded a large file just to see the dl speed and it was running at about 350k per sec. Just a few weeks ago I was only averaging about 100k per sec. I haven't made any real changes. Guess I won't complain. I'll just take advantage of it while it lasts. Well, my original question is, is it even reasonable for me to be getting a speed 2.5 times the advertised speed?

Yea it is at my Pops house on a really good day he has basic cable but uploads and downloads at T1 speeds we are not saying anything to the cable ppl tho

time of day means alot i know here in the middle of the night
i run smokin fast but between 7am and 9pm it slows down alot
hehee more ppl with normal lives on the system then lol

It means alot with dsl aswell or atleast with my adsl because between the time 6pm - 11pm i cant hit anything on any fps games because of my ping is always about twice as bad as i usaully have.
