Help Installing

Ok can some one please tell me exactly how to setup everquest so I can play. Also what is the eqemu patch. Is it the patch the auto everquest auto patcher install. Please help me. I will really apreaciate it. Thank you in advance.

The only "setup" Everquest need is to edit your EQHost.txt. You will find how using any tutorials in tutorial section.

EQemu patch was an old patch program, no more used.

alright but when ever i try to load up eq using the eqgame.exe, my screen goes black as if it's going to open but then goes back to the desktop again.

DX9 installed ? Recent driver for your video card installed ?
You should go in SoE Forum/Website, your problem is with Everquest, not really EQEmu to me.
