Everything fine.. until..
 

Greetings!

My problem is.. I load up into the server select screen, I pick a server, it loads up to character screen fine, I can create character fine, but once i try to enter into the world, it takes me back tot he server screen, No errors.

Just takes me back from loading into the world, to the server screen.. whats causing this ?

If you patched since the 21st and didnt backup your old version you are SOL.

Im what? and i just started playing eq emu again yesterday..

sombeitch... what files were updated? lol.. the damn guide said to fully update.. so i did :P

The guide says to fuly update because the files installed by the EQ are way too old to be compatible with the Emu, but unfortunately the patch files are too new to work with the Emu so until the Emu is updated you won't be able to log on. This happens quite freuently as Sony loves to completely break their old code. Some times it takes a day to get hte Emu updated and other times its taken weeks to do. It jsut depends on how much got changed and how much free time the Devs feel like using to fix it.

so I won't be able to run an own server until we get a EMU patch? =/

well... sad... but I can't get my puter to work anyways, and
my graphics card is also broken for the moment... =/

so lucky me anyways :)

but we can't play EQ on EMU servers unless we have a backup
on the old EQ client files or get an EQ Emu patch??

Is there a specific file(s) that have to be older? If so i can i get a list of the ones that have to be older and what not? My Friends play it also and seem to have no proplems at all so i can get the files off them im sure.

So if anyone knows what files they are and such please share..
