Where is the quests dir? and is new admin on way?
 

Where is the quests dir that you use for NPC quests? The sticky says the .qst files are in the c:\eqemu\quests yet I dont see these.

Also anyone know if a new admin tool is comming out soon? Cant do much without it since dont know database's well. Would like to correct spawns and add factions and such.

just create the quests directory, the emu doesn't come with any since they are tied to npc's (no npc's in the DB)

the quests dir is [eqemudir]\quests, but it doesn't come with quests. i've been working on a new admin tool, but i'm kinda draggin my feet. hard to find time to put into it lately. hopefully by next weekend i'll be able to get some stuff sorted out and work on it enough that i can release a rough functional version.
no guarantees though, due to real life sucking my brain.

working on my quest helper , it should create .qst files and the like soon , maybe by the ned of the next week , right now its generating quests scripts and includes a search engine to get NPCs or Items IDs you just have to create and save the .qst files manually
