Boot to login server...
 

Every time i go to log in a char i get booted to server select like many others, Im patched to current update, I do not run my own server just a player, what should i do? im semi computer illeterate when it comes to this, please help

What server are you trying to connect to? If you patched you can only connect to some 0.5.7-DR1 and all 0.5.7-DR2 servers. To prevent anything like this to happen I suggest making a backup EverQuest file so you can switch off depending on what servers you want to play on.
