Heh ok here I can be a bit more descript, as well as inform those that are curious to how far ive gotten.
This is a custom Legit server with custom coding to bring back an expanded version of the M code. (for those old timer eq'ers you know what it is :P) Basically... I am building a server where one can "quest" for a race/class change. Ogre Mages for rp purposes :P When I say race change, I mean any EQ race.. Plans to have upgraded quests, for example a person quests to be a drake, and then has to do a much tougher quest to get restartes as a dragon. Yes.. I said dragon. I am needing C++ programmers willing to work in tandem with me in getting the coding right. Things that have been done Loading any model into any zone... Naggie in Feerrott. Unfortunatly, this is a client side fix, meaning once I get the server running, Ill have to be able to supply the fixes Changing Race/class...using #permarace and #permaclass. Rather keep this as GM only, but if a quest can be programmed to do this I would take that as well. Current Issues #texture reverts back to 0 when zoning.. need a #permatexture command ExpSet -- major coding here. mainly having to trick the database to see the race/class combo as valid. if anyone knows where the expset is defined at. it will be helpful. Ive already added Dragon to the arrays To Do Mobs -- I got a near empty server lol Again, any C++ programmers willing to work with me on this will be welcomed |
Would being dragon work. I don't think there are any global models for a dragon. I'm not really sure though

your right. there isnt.. but there is a way to force a zone to load the models.. but thats a client end fix. Meaning I may be able to see myself as a dragon, but you see me as a human floating over your head..... with a claw attack..
