Hi, i am semi-new here and am having a problem doing my initial set-up/login. Here's my problem > I installed a fresh copy of EQ, updated to current version, then made backup, I then changed the host file to eqlogin3(even tryed eqlogin1) and whenever i hit the new account button i get "Error1001: could not connect to the everquest server, please try again shortly." I tried again shortly and it was a no-go =p My host file is :

[Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin3.eqemulator.net:5997"
}
[Login Services]
{
"eqlogin3.eqemulator.net:5997"
}

Ive tried all the troubleshooting i can think of and looked up all the links i could find and checked the recent news info also. Please someone help me w/ this problem! Thanks for taking the time to review this, much appreciated :)

I changed the host file and im still getting the same 1001 error, not sure what to do now... I also trid to run everquest w/ the original host file and didnt work either.
