Slight Problem
 

bah i try to go to Winters Roar server and i get the message "Cannot login to the everquest server" and so on and so forth...am i the only one?

One more thing...i try making a char on another server and i go through race/class and all that then when i click next after i choose my name it just takes me back to char selection screen without my newley created charecter in there..how come? heh sorry to bother with all this :oops:

I've never played on Winter's Roar before but I've seen it on the Servers List. I think you can't play it if you have a DX9 version of EQEMu because it's only running 0.5.3.

I don't know if they plan to update it or not.

Winter's Roar is a very custom server. You need different files to access it. If you are interested in playing on winter's roar, you should check out the website at http://wintersroar.com

Winter's Roar is running 5.3.... You can have DX9 installed and still play, but, you couldn't have patched since sometime in Feb in order to play.... I don't remember the exact date, but if you search a little bit you can find it. They used to have a download that would let you play if you had patched, but I don't think that it works anymore.

Probably because providing those files - even if they're old versions - is illegal AND could get you banned from EQEMu.
