i have the program download and i think its the right one i used to play along time ago i wanna start again but when i try to connect nothing happends except screen freezes and then you can not connect or world is not responding and ideas guys thanks ???

We need alot more information to help you. For one thing you don't need to download anything to play on here, only if you want to run your own server do you need to downlaod a program. What exactly are you running and doing before it freezes and what version of the EQ client do you have, when did you last run the patcher?

this is also happening to me for some reason.... i have done everything correctly to log on to eqemu, but when i make my character and hit enter world, it brings me back to the server select screen.

i am running windows xp
i have all expansions of eq

i followed all the directions as well...but when i select server i wish to play on ( 5.7 ) anyhow....it gives me 1017 wassup with that :(
