cant log in to anything other then winters roar
 

up until the other day i was able to log into any of the new 5.7 servers which was coo....then for some unknown reason now i get 1017 every server except the winters roar server which i dont care to really play on for the most part..everything is current maybe someone can help me with this problem........

That is because your version of the files are 5.3(which is the version WR runs). Almost every other server is around 5.7 dr2, which is having your files patched to eqlive's version currently.

but i was able to play on them up until yesterday....could play on any of the servers including 5.7 and what not.....

That is not possible, coz there where many changes in the Clients from 5.3 up to 5.7DR2

So you wouldnt be able to play at both ServerVersions with the same clients.

what im sayin is i NEVER tried to play on WR before...always semi legit on the 5.7 DR2 always never tried WR....until the other day when i couldnt log on any server....so i selected WR just for shits and giggles....low and behold it was then the only thing i could play on.....but i was playin on the 5.7 ones for a long time now....atleast since they released it

Here you say definately you played on all servers up to 5.7 and that is not possible, no matter what name the Server had. The difference in the serverversions almoust always make it nessecary to patch the client

ok ... im sure i was on 5.7 i NEVER played anything in green...always on those....i KNOW what i been playin lol....but i woke up and was unable to log into anything else...it was after i restored my comp....maybe that has something to do with it but all live is updated as i play regularly on EQLIVE.....so i have NO clue whats up :(

ok now i followed directions to do it eqemu style.....got rid of WR....and still getting 1017 when i try to log into the 5.7 servers
