faction check for multiple result depending on the faction handing multiple items npc -> pc and pc -> npc after that we will be able to redo almost all VI's quests |
a "check if items is lore and if player already has this item " function would be realy important too else its gonna screw up the inventory everytime you get a lore item from a quest

If yes how do u use it? If not, this should be great for dynamic quest like the caller quest in FG :) |
Some other things that'd be good for scripting -
- Increasing/decreasing the player's standing with factions when a quest is completed - Giving money as a reward (maybe with a random factor) - Being able to recognise the player's race and/or class, and mention it in dialogue (e.g "Hail, fellow Wood Elf") - Sending the player to another zone, as with #zone (this could be a good way to let non-Wizards get to the Planes) - Getting other NPCs to join in the conversation (this happens in quite a few NPC dialogues in EQ) |
I thought the Race Class thing was put into 3.1... or at least someone has a code snipit for it.
Also a limited version of chaining NPC's in the quest, Put a trigger in keyed off the first NPC's dialog NPC1: Hail woodelf NPC2: Bah stupid woodelf's <- set trigger as "Hail woodelf" |
