would love to play eqemu but......
 

i guess this must not be for me i followed all the directions from changing eqhost and making the short cut...even created an acct....soon as i select a server it gives me 1017 and been that way for a few days....if any can help would appreciate it if not ... /shrug i guess i stay on eqlive

im getting that error on a few of the other servers, and just starting like an hour ago, i can get into the server, but when i try to log into the world, it takes me back to character select screen, i tried to log into EVERY server.

ahh but i cant even get past server select :(

Exactly what errors are you gettings? Bad User/pass? cannont connect to login server? need to tell us what problems your having, not being able to get onto the servers could be a huge number of problems, so say what problems your getting and then it will be easier to fix.

Ok, actually if you just patched either today, or yesterday then your screwed till the next version comes out of EQEMU. Which is.... 5.7 DR3 I think?
