Does this only happen to me?
 

Hey everyone. I got a question. I make a character and get them to like lvl 20ish and give him items and stuff and at one point I'll log off. THen I want to get back on and play again but it will say zone unavailable. IS there anyway where you can safely log you character off in a zone that stays up? Becuase, it's like I put some time into playing a character and it sucks when I'm unable to log in because, I'm in a zone that isn't up. If you lvl your character really high and this happens, how are you ever supposed to get them back? But, if there is a way around this any info. would be great, thanks!

This happens when your connection to the server is slow and times out after a couple seconds of trying to zone in or when the server is screwed up and ran out of zone servers. In that case the only zones you can log into are the ones that already ahve people in them and that changes all the time. So all you can really do is stay in popular zones or tell the server admin to run more zone servers or hope your connection gets better.

ask the server op if any of the zones are static , if so log out in one of them when your done playing , or if not see if they could make one static like bazaar or something

i dunno if this works on any other server but i know on raid addicts you can make a new char a #movechar soandso nexus and move the char your not on

Most legit servers do not allow #movechar because it allows you to move anyones character unless you decide to recode it which would make it worthless for GMs.

I thought that too, but looking at the code it seems if your status <80 then you can only move characters on your own account.
