Cannot get past the character select screen

Every server i try to play on will not let me past the char select screen, i end up getting booted back to the login/server select screen and its an ongoing cycle. Is anyone else having problems like this? I took a break from Emu for awhile and used to be able to play it no problem. Lately I havent been able to play it period.

If you patched to live on 18.05, then its normal.
Lastest EQLive patch broke EQEmu.

Be careful before you patch, check the website to see if the latest patch breakes EqEmulator.

He wouldn't even reach char selection screen with the latest patch, I think it is not the source of the problem.

Yes, and if he were patched too early for the version he was trying to log into, he would get 1017.... Sounds like something in your client is messed up and needs a repatch (which you cant do unfortunately)...:(
