invalid username/password?
 

I downloaded the eqhost.txt file from another topic, and I made it read only. I fixed the crash problem, now it just says invalid username or password. Im useing the exact same username password I am posting with (watching for upper/lowercase).

I am also useing eqw, so im not repatching SOE's eqhost file.

Thinking there might be some issue, I just created a new account and i'm getting the same error trying to log on, can't even get to the server list.

Sure i'm typing it correctly, but bad username/password response. Even made an additional account just to check I didn't mistype the password.

I actually had another acccount on this forum (veggita2099) But it won't let me log into it, I have tried several passwords and all come back as bad. I tried the forgot password with the only 2 e-mails I would have used, and it came back bad. However when I re-signed up it wouldn't let me use the veggita2099 cause it was allready in use *shrugs*.

I have ready several stickys and can not find anything wrong.

You have to make a login account as well as a forum account. Look at the news posts to see how to do this.

Thats what i'm saying animepimp.

Made a forumn acct, got the "cd key" from the profile screen.

Opened EQ, with all settings right, created an account.
Got the confirmation from eqemu that it accepted my inputs and an account was made.

Tried to log in using that account, got invalid pw/login.

Well you had said that you were using the smae user/pass that you were using to post here so I thought that was the problem. Now is it saying bad EQEmu user/pass or bad Station user/pass?

Finnally got it working, of all that stuff I read i must have just missed the info about having to sign up twice.

Now if people would put up some non-legit servers :(
