Okay, so I have changed the eqhost.txt file. Have downloaded the Eqclientls.ini thing and have registered my account. I have tried both read-only and non read-only and still It just says Loading Please Wait...

This seems to be a growing problem and none of the standard fixes are working. Was there a patch since the 16th? Or maybe the login server is getting messed up again.

it seems there was a patch on the 22nd. damned it. =(

how is giving us the eqhost.txt again going to help exactly? ive done all that and it still isnt working so my guess is that it isnt the fix

I think the login process got changed again with the latest patch for some reason. So until the devs do some work on the login server you won't be able to fix it. I'm not 100% sure of this since its only been a day since the patch and we don't know for sure if it affects everyone who patched, but thats my best guess.
